Gnomes are clever, a little mischievous, and deeply connected to the earth. They love treasure, especially shiny treasure, and sometimes “borrow” trinkets humans leave lying around.

House Gnomes, like Bea’s, are fiercely protective of their humans, though they stay out of sight until everyone’s asleep. Being an ancient race, they speak the languages of birds, insects and plants, and greet each other by rubbing noses. They’re also strict vegetarians, especially fond of root vegetables like carrots, rutabaga, beets and potatoes.
