A QUEST is a journey made in search of something; it is a long and difficult effort to find or do something. The goal of the quest is never easily achieved, but much is learned along the way. Many cultures incorporate mythic quests as part of their lore. The quest often symbolizes a country’s values, challenges and achievements. Though each quest story may involve great adventures, harrowing challenges and heroic deeds, the purpose of the quest is really self-knowledge.

There have been many quests throughout time. One of the most famous was “The Quest for the Holy Grail” from the Legend of King Arthur. Many quests are also found in fantasy books.
